1. About BarberWorx

The barberworx.au website (the "Website") is owned and operated by JB Haircare Pty Ltd t/a BarberWorx (ACN 155 266 612). The Website sells professional barbering and grooming products to retail customers and approved trade account holders within Australia.

By accessing or using the Website, placing an order or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. Definitions

  • "We", "us", "our" means JB Haircare Pty Ltd t/a BarberWorx.
  • "You" means the person accessing the Website or placing an order.
  • "Products" means the goods offered for sale on the Website.
  • "Trade Account" means an approved wholesale account held by a qualified barber, hairdresser, salon, barbershop or training organisation.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order or create an account. By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method.

4. Account Registration

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@barberworx.au if you suspect unauthorised use.

5. Trade Accounts

Trade accounts are available to qualified professionals and businesses operating in the barbering and hairdressing industry. Applications are reviewed manually and may require proof of qualifications, business registration (ABN) and trading address.

Approved trade account holders receive 12% off retail prices on eligible products. Trade pricing is for the holder's own professional use and resale within their business only — bulk on-selling to other resellers is not permitted. We may suspend or close trade accounts that breach this clause or that show no purchase activity for an extended period.

6. Orders and Acceptance

An order placed through the Website is an offer to buy. We accept your order when we send the order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including where stock is unavailable, pricing was displayed in error, payment cannot be processed, or we suspect fraud.

7. Pricing and Payment

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Shipping is calculated and shown at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders we have already accepted.

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout (including major credit cards, Shopify Payments, PayPal and Afterpay where shown). Payment must be received before goods are dispatched.

8. Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotional codes and offers are subject to their own terms (eligibility, expiry, minimum spend, excluded products). Only one code may be used per order unless we expressly state otherwise. Codes have no cash value and cannot be applied retrospectively.

9. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy at barberworx.au/policies/shipping-policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provide at checkout.

10. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund and Returns Policy at barberworx.au/policies/refund-policy. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Product Information

We take reasonable care to describe products accurately, but colours, packaging and ingredients can vary slightly from images. Always read product labels and instructions before use, especially for chemical and styling products. If you are unsure about suitability for a client, perform a patch test or consult the manufacturer's safety data sheet.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including text, images, logos, video, layout and code — is owned by or licensed to JB Haircare Pty Ltd t/a BarberWorx and is protected by copyright and trade mark laws. You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.

"BarberWorx" and our logo are trade marks of JB Haircare Pty Ltd. Other brand and product names appearing on the Website are trade marks of their respective owners.

13. User Conduct

You must not use the Website to:

  • Breach any law or regulation
  • Infringe anyone's intellectual property or other rights
  • Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information
  • Transmit malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or interfere with the Website's operation
  • Scrape, mirror or harvest content for commercial use

14. Reviews and User Content

If you submit a review, photo or other content to the Website, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and display that content in connection with our business, including marketing. You confirm the content is your own and does not infringe anyone's rights.

15. Disclaimers and Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to the Australian Consumer Law guarantees that cannot be excluded:

  • The Website and products are provided "as is" without warranties other than those required by law.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data arising from your use of the Website or products.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim is limited, at our option, to resupplying the relevant product or refunding the price paid.

The Website may link to third party websites. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, products or practices of those websites.

17. Privacy

18. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website, or cancel any pending order, if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on the Website and applies from the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
